(ANSA) – ROME, MARCH 30 – Torino beat Monza 1-0 and with eight rounds to go of the Serie A championship they make a move towards the area of the standings which leads to a place in next season’s European Cups. The Granata are just one point behind Napoli. Author of the goal was Sanabria, who converted the penalty, much contested by the Monza players, caused by a hold by Pessina on Ricci in the 23rd minute of the second half. Pessina himself was sent off shortly afterwards for a second yellow card. In the other match Genoa and Frosinone drew 1-1. The home team scored with a penalty scored and converted by Gudmundsson in the 30th minute, the Ciociari equalizing shortly after with Reinier. (HANDLE).
