Since this trip, Luis Enrique’s men have conceded three draws, against Rennes, Monaco and Reims. Poor performances which, however, do not call into question the future title of the capital club, which is still ten points ahead of its runner-up, Brest.
Montpellier is fighting for its survival in Ligue 1. Having gotten off to a bad start, the Montpellier residents are only a small point ahead of Nantes, the first relegated side. They were even in this position before the last match, but their great victory in Nice allowed them to get out of the red zone. However, they will need new successes to give themselves some fresh air and finish the season without trembling.
