Monaco and Panathinaikos Tied for Second Place in Euroleague Standings

Provisionally placed 2nd, after its victory yesterday against Asvel, Monaco was joined by Panathinaikos in the ranking, with a joint record of 21 victories for 11 defeats. The Greeks won Friday evening in difficulty thanks to a basket at the buzzer from Kendrick Nunn (81-79).

Real Madrid, solid leader, once again won this Friday against Red Star Belgrade (101-94). Dzanan Musa and Nemanja Nedovic put on a show with 30 points each. Guerschon Yabusele also participated in the White House victory by scoring 16 points and grabbing 5 rebounds.

But the Euroleague evening was especially marked by Nigel Hayes-Davis’ 50 points, a record in the competition, during Fenerbahçe’s demonstration against Alba Berlin (103-68).
