Milwaukee Bucks Stop Atlanta Hawks’ Winning Streak with 122-113 Victory

The Milwaukee Bucks ended the Atlanta Hawks’ four-game winning streak by winning 122-113 on Saturday night.

Giannis Antetokounmpo had six dunks while collecting 36 points and 16 rebounds. Khris Middleton added 21 points for the Bucks, who rebounded from two straight losses.

Milwaukee thus keeps a small margin over the Cleveland Cavaliers (47-27 against 45-29) in 2nd place in the East.

They overcame the 38 points collected by Bogdan Bogdanovic, who added a career-high 10 rebounds. He scored 17 points in the final quarter, including two long baskets in the final minute of play.

Dejounte Murray, who scored a career-high 44 points in Atlanta’s overtime victory over Boston last Thursday, this time had 20 points, 12 assists and 8 rebounds.

Successive three-pointers from De’Andre Hunter and Bogdanovic allowed the Hawks to cut the lead to 94-89 midway through the final quarter. Middleton and Brook Lopez, however, responded in the same way to restore a double-digit lead to Milwaukee.

The Bucks were playing without Damian Lillard, sidelined for personal reasons. They were 0-5 without him before today.
