Mike Evans Signs Two-Year Extension with Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Teams that wanted to attract wide receiver Mike Evans on the free agent market will have to find a new plan.

On Monday, ESPN learned that the veteran had signed a two-year contract extension with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Evans got a contract worth a total of $52 million, of which $35 million is guaranteed.

This is quite a tour de force for the Buccaneers, since Evans was considered the best pass catcher available on the market.

Even though he is 31 years old, Evans remains one of the best in his profession, as evidenced by his 1,255 yards and 13 touchdowns last season.

He also obtained more than 1,000 yards through the air during each of his 10 NFL campaigns.

Evans, who also won the Super Bowl in 2021 alongside quarterback Tom Brady, could therefore spend his entire career with the same formation.
