The activity for the training categories does not stop. From March 15 to 26, CeNARD will host the Men’s U18 Development Campus, the first call of the year for the group that has just been South American champions last year and is preparing for the FIBA Americas of the category. It will be played from June 3 to 9 with a venue to be confirmed and grants four tickets to the 2025 U19 World Cup.

For this occasion, the coaching staff headed by Mauro Polla established a roster of 16 players who work in our country. The list includes eight of the twelve South American champions who were crowned last year in Valledupar, Colombia. In addition, three players born in 2007 and two born in 2008 will be present.

It will be the third Development Campus so far this year for the men’s branch, which already had concentrations for the U15 and U17 categories, the other two groups that will have official competition this year. This is an initial instance for working with the category, which will serve to emphasize individual fundamentals, incorporate concepts that will be useful in the process and also evaluate the evolution of the boys after the summer break.
