Mayor Hannes Gieseler visits the JCG children’s training
At the Wilnsdorf municipality’s sports honor in 2022, Marie Ax and Janne Westphal from JC Gernsdorf also met the criteria and were awarded district championship titles.
During small talk after the award, we invited the mayor to visit us for a training session. Now the plan was put into action: the mayor was dressed and learned fall exercises and a first throw and overall got involved. At the end of the training, the kids were allowed to put their mayor on the cross and clearly had fun.
A town hall employee created a video of this training. This video was then shown at the 2023 sports awards ceremony in the Wilnsdorf festival hall and was very well received by the audience. You can watch the video here: Hannes Gieseler visits the JCG
