Mastering Badminton: A Lesson Plan for Success

BADMINTON LESSON

-jogging (3 min)

-warm up (5-7 minutes)

– (single exercises) – dribbling the racket

-exercises in pairs (15 min)

– forehand and backhand shots

– serve (and smash) (at the net)

– try not to drop the flywheel

-tournament (15 minutes)

– “Fewer and fewer flywheels”

– Two groups are facing each other on a badminton court with a net

tense. At the beginning, each of the groups has 20 or more shuttlecocks in its field. To the

signal from the teacher, all students have one minute to throw the shuttlecocks into the

opponent’s field. The team with the fewest shuttlecocks after one minute wins

field. Only one shuttlecock can be thrown at a time and it must be thrown beyond the first

line.
