Loustic’bad Glazik Club: A Hub for Badminton Enthusiasts of All Ages

The Loustic’bad Glazik club, made up of around a hundred athletes, is open to the general public, from 7 years old, for practicing this racket sport for leisure or competition.

The president of the club, Vincent Kergourlay, and his team are preparing the 11th Loustics tournament which will take place over two days, May 4 and 5, in singles, doubles and mixed, Colette-Besson room. It is open to all members of the French badminton federation, which numbered 180 athletes during the previous tournament.

Last weekend, Alicia Bouget, 15 years old, and Maïna Le Teuff, 14 years old, participated in their first tournament in Quimper. “They were very courageous and fought well,” notes the president. Depending on their wish, players can participate in tournaments every weekend.

On the other hand, the third edition of the Loustics blackminton, created in 2022, took place in March. Young and old alike were able to have fun under the purple spotlights. Throughout the evening, players wearing makeup and colorful rackets created a subdued atmosphere.

Practical
