Johnson stated at the NFL owners meetings that if they choose not to trade him, they will retain him.

The Jets have been searching for a potential candidate to assume the former No. 2 overall pick from their team, but so far, no viable options have emerged.

Johnson explained that he does not reject them. He clarified that if something was rejected, it would be Joe who rejected it.
