Los Angeles Chargers Sign Cornerback Kristian Fulton to One-Year Deal

The Los Angeles Chargers have agreed to a one-year contract with cornerback Kristian Fulton, according to ESPN.

The latter had hopes of performing well to receive a big check in his next contract entering the 2023 campaign, but those aspirations were short-lived due to tendon and groin injuries. He missed six games and was placed on the injured list for the season.

Fulton, who turns 25 next September, was selected by the Tennessee Titans in the second round of the 2020 draft. His journey with the Titans was marred by injuries, where he missed 23 games since the start of his career.

The cornerback position was the Achilles heel of the Chargers defense last season. Asante Samuel Jr., Michael Davis, JC Jackson and Deane Leonard shared the starts due to several deficiencies.

In four seasons in the NFL, Fulton played in 42 games, including 37 starts. He recorded 150 tackles, one sack and four interceptions.
