On Saturday, the friendly badminton tournament brought together parents and children at the town’s multipurpose hall. Sixteen teams played all morning for a morning competition which was intended only to have fun and to strengthen parent-child bonds with the simple objective of winning some goodies.
This mini-competition prepared for the real tournament, also friendly, between clubs which will take place on June 1st. The club includes twenty-five young people and fifteen adults who meet on Wednesday evenings, at 8:30 p.m., for adults and Saturday mornings, from 9:30 a.m. to noon, for children (information on 07 86 87 70 17).
The management team says it is confident in the future of the club thanks to the financial assistance of José De Sousa Goncalves who sponsors several sports clubs in the town: football, judo and badminton.
