Tomorrow the fourth match of the Lias Asi national championship

VALLERANO – Tomorrow, starting at 9 am, the fourth match of the national historical archery championship Lias Asi 2023/24, the Italian League of historical archers and the Italian social sports associations, will take place in Vallerano, also valid for the ranking individual of the Lazio regional championship. The event is organized by the Company of Porcupine Archers of Civita Castellana, with the patronage of the Municipality of Vallerano.

The competition will take place on a route of 18 pitches identified throughout the center of the cimini, from the municipal garden to the historic center, while 165 participants come from all over Italy who will wear clothes attributable to a period ranging from the year zero to the sixteenth century , using sports equipment, always linked to those years.

Historical archery is, in fact, a sporting discipline that uses bows without aiming systems and is based only on the pure instinct of the archer.

The program for tomorrow, November 19th, includes the welcome of the archers and the start of the event in Piazza della Repubblica at 8.30, the calling of the stands at 9.00, the start of the competition and the awards ceremony, at the end of the competition, again in Piazza della Repubblica.

‘For the Municipality of Vallerano – comments the mayor Adelio Gregori –, the national stage of the Lias Asi historical archery championship is a source of great satisfaction. We will host numerous archers from all over Italy and, for us, in addition to the prestige of the event, it will also be a good opportunity to promote tourism and culture of our country. I thank the Company of Porcupine Archers of Civita Castellana for having accepted our invitation and for having worked on the creation of an event, from many points of view, demanding on an organizational level.
