LeBron James and Lakers Light Up Scoreboard in Win Against Pacers: Offensive Showdown in the NBA

The Los Angeles Lakers around superstar LeBron James prevailed in an offensive show against the Indiana Pacers in the NBA.

On Sunday (local time) the Lakers won 150:145 (72:68), with a total of 295 points, both teams scoring the third most points in a North American Basketball League game this season. Only in the Pacers’ 157:152 victory against the Atlanta Hawks in mid-November last year and the Utah Jazz’s 154:148 victory against the Detroit Pistons in early January this year were more points scored.

For the Lakers, four players surpassed the 36-point threshold: Anthony Davis (16 points, 26 rebounds), LeBron James (26 points, ten assists), Spencer Dinwiddie (25 points) and Austin Reaves (20 points). The NBA record champions scored 44 points in the third quarter and led by 19. After their third consecutive victory, the Lakers remain ninth in the Western Conference.

Money wins the big game

The biggest game on Sunday (local time) went to the Milwaukee Bucks. The East’s second-best team beat the West’s previously leading Oklahoma City Thunder, 118:93 (48:47). The Bucks dominated the second half 70-46 and were led by superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo with 30 points and 19 rebounds. For the first time since late January, the Bucks were able to use their favorite starting lineup again, with the returning Khris Middleton impressing with a triple-double of eleven points, ten rebounds and ten assists.

While the Thunder have to give up first place to the Denver Nuggets due to the defeat, but are still just ahead of the Minnesota Timberwolves, the Los Angeles Clippers lose touch with the leading trio. The Clippers had to admit defeat against the Philadelphia 107ers 121:56 (63:76), decisive was a partial of 2:18 at the beginning of the fourth quarter.
