The La Almunia Archery Club, with the collaboration of the city council, organized the XXXIV Aragón Archery Championship in February with the presence of more than fifty archers from the entire community.

The local archers showed a high level, all reaching the final qualifying rounds. Pedro Julio Langarita won the runner-up in the compound bow modality in the absolute category, Eric Salvador, only 10 years old, achieved victory in the recurve bow modality in the under 15 category.
The trophy presentation was attended by the mayor of La Almunia, Noé Latorre; the Sports Councilor, Alejandro Aísa; the president of the Aragonese Archery Federation; Felipe Landazábal; and the president of the La Almunia club, Enrique Urbiola.
This official recognition underlined the importance of the event and the commitment of local authorities to the development and promotion of sport.
In addition to the trophies, local products provided by the sponsors (Agrícola del Jalón, El Duendecillo, Cosanse and Panadería Eduardo Sacasa) were handed out, leaving a very good taste in the mouths of the championship participants.
