Huerter has been away since was injured Monday night in the first quarter of a win against Memphis. The team announced Thursday that treatment options are being evaluated and did not give no timeline on when Huerter might return.

Sacramento is currently in a close race to avoid the play-in, with the Kings finishing in eighth place in the Western Conference on Thursday, half a game behind the Dallas Mavericks and Phoenix Suns. The top six teams in the West will advance to the playoffs, and the next four will attempt to qualify through play-in.

Huerter has started 59 games this season for the Kings and averages 10.2 points per game, up from 15.2 points per game last season in his first campaign with Sacramento. His three-point shooting also dropped from 40.2% last season to 36.1% this season.
