Kansas City Chiefs Super Fan ‘Chiefsaholic’ Faces Lengthy Prison Sentence for Bank Robberies

Xaviar Babudar, better known as ‘Chiefsaholic’ and self appointed as the #1 Kansas City Chiefs fanfaces a lengthy prison sentence after pleading guilty to three charges in federal court linking him to a series of bank robberies.

The ‘Chiefaholic’ pleaded guilty to money laundering, transportation of stolen property to different states and bank robbery, facing up to 50 years in prison for his crimes. Furthermore he will have to pay a little more than $500 thousand in restitution to the victims.

Babudar wore a wolf costume in the games of the current two-time Super Bowl champions, the Kansas City Chiefs, and was arrested in December 2022, being released on bail in February 2023, facing his trial in freedom.

Chiefsaholic: a career criminal

He also had to give up one of his most prized properties during the trial: A painting of Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes, autographed by the same player. Babudar’s sentence is expected to be announced in July.

Among other charges against him, Babudar pleaded not guilty to robbing the Tulsa Teachers Credit Union in Bixby, Oklahoma, being accused of fleeing with $150,000 and pointing a gun at a bank employee.

The operation, considered ‘one of the largest in the Midwest’ in the United States, involved 11 bank robberies in more than 7 states of the American Union.
