It’s psychodrama Juveoverwhelmed by the whistles of the Stadium after yet another missed opportunity against Genoa, in the third consecutive match without a win and with only one success in the last 8 matches, with only one victory in the last 5 home matches. And as if that wasn’t enough in the finale Vlahovic he gets himself expelled for repeated protests, and will miss Lazio After the stop.

The match

Allegri confirms 9/11th of the starters against Atalanta, with the return of Vlahovic at the center of the attack. First half under pace and without any jolts for the Bianconeri who risked a lot at the start with a very poisonous header from Bani, deflected by a great reflex from Szczesny. Sterile possession and a series of outsized supports for Danilo and his teammates who struggle to reach the goal and set up the maneuver while Allegri screams on the sidelines. There are no playable balls coming to Vlahovic and in the first half the most dangerous is Vlahovic, who comes close to taking the lead on a volley, but the result doesn’t break the deadlock.

Allegri’s changes

Bremer and Danilo struggled to contain Vitinha, but Genoa didn’t break through either, but in the second half Juve fired up, with the triple substitution: on Rabiot, Yildiz and Iling Junior, with Chiesa not at all satisfied with the substitution and his performance. The center of gravity rises and Shake immediately protagonist with a chipped post from a very angled left-footed conclusion. Juve gains confidence and tries to trigger Vlahovic, first with a header wide following an assist from Cambiaso, and then again with another strike following a cue from the former Bologna winger. Allegri also plays the Weah and Kean cards, but Gilardino’s Genoa holds on, and within 90′ Yildiz catches Kean in depth, a sharp shot and a full post (the second of the afternoon) that keeps the rossoblù afloat. In the final, Vlahovic loses his head, gets a yellow card for protests and doesn’t stop, until Giua’s very heavy red card, which rules him out for the next match against Lazio.
