Casale Monferrato – On the fourth and final day of the first round of the gold play-in, Junior Casale surrendered to Swag Basket Cecina 82-86. The late recovery of coach Arioli’s team was of no avail as they suffered a 15-31 run in the second quarter, thus compromising the match. In the last quarter the recovery of De Ros and his teammates was not enough for the Junior who, apart from the first two quarters lost, never sank decisively. Now we start again with the second round and to reach the playoffs the Junior must at least obtain two victories out of four matches.
