Judo Creusot Shines at Critérium Bourgogne Benjamins, Qualifying 15 Youngsters for Regional Phase

The Creusetin club was very present at the Critérium Bourgogne Benjamins which took place this Sunday in Auxerre. Indeed, with its 18 qualifiers during the departmental phase, Judo Creusot was the Burgundy club with the most representatives during this regional phase. The young judokas aged 10 to 12 were keen to do their best in order to qualify for the final phase of their category, the Critérium Bourgogne Franche-Comté Benjamins which will take place on Sunday May 5, 2024. Thanks to coaching of their coaches Johnny Potet and Arthur Repiquet, they were precise and efficient throughout the day, even if some lacked little to get on the podium.

Bronze medal: Anas Benyoucef, Oualim Labiad, Quentin Saidou, Arthur Telmar
5th place: Muhammed Yigit Agdas, Gabriel François, Adam Ziram
7th place: Soren Guérin
Unclassified: Wassim Soumati, Ria Afonso, Louiza Larabi, Julie Magnin, Adam Miladi
With these excellent results, Judo Creusot qualifies 15 youngsters for the Critérium BFC and will thus be the most represented club in Burgundy. The young Creusotin junior Ewen Costa Redol was also present on the day as he refereed as part of the Young Referee’s Cup. Bravo to him for his very good behavior. Coaches Johnny and Arthur are very proud of the work of their young people, their commitment and the great representation they make of the Creusetin club in the region.
