Judo Club Prato protagonist in Besana in Brianza for the sixth “Gran Prix Veterani Lombardia 2024”, first round of the Italia Master Trophy, organized by the Lombardy Regional Committee. The four athletes of the Judo Club Prato all reached the podium, confirming a high level in the Master sector of the master Beppe Macrì’s company. As many as 180 athletes are at the start for a season that will see the second round of the Italian trophy in Bologna in May and then the European Championships in June in Saraievo and the final of the Italian championships in Ostia at the beginning of July. Fabio Santini, in the M6/M8 age group, won bronze in the 81 kg category, while in the M3/M4 age group Marco Marcheselli, despite a shoulder problem, only succumbed in the final in the 66 kg, taking home silver. The tension, however, played a bad joke on the new Italian champion Giada Fallani, who had a bad day in the F4/F8 age group, however obtaining a bronze in the 63 kg category. Gold medal for Lorenzo Malirder, who on his debut in the Master M1 class won in the 73 kg category.
