With a participation of 626 wrestlers, a record number in a Spanish Sambo Wrestling championship, Judo Canet has obtained a total of 15 individual medals, two runners-up by teams and four by federations, in addition to fifth place in the Overall in all categories. in his debut in this competition which, on this occasion, was held in the Madrid town of Tres Cantos.
The gold medals were won by Nadia de la Fuente and Alba Palop in the junior category, while Fran Agustin, in the senior category, Iker Martinez and Marc Vicent in the youth category, and Alvaro Simó and Nikolás Lysenko in the school category, achieved the runner-up finishes in Spain.
The bronzes were nine, in charge of Hugo Cuadros, Arantxa Fornés and Salva Montagud in youth, Daren Makoly, Pablo Valls, in cadets, Gabriela García, Mario Antuña, Viktoriia Romanuhka and Sofia Durá, in schoolchildren.
By team, Judo Canet, achieved runners-up in the Junior category in both the men’s and women’s categories. By Federations, Canet’s wrestlers achieved the title in junior women and the runner-up in schoolchildren, while in the men’s category they were third in cadets and juniors.
