Javonte Green will wear the Chicago Bulls jersey again. According to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPNthe Illinois organization has acquired the forward’s services through a 10-day contract.
As we say, it will be a reunion. Green has been with the Bulls for almost three years, the most recent in a 2022-23 campaign in which he was only able to play 32 games due to a knee injury that required surgery.
If Billy Donovan chooses to give him minutes, these will be the 30-year-old’s first in the NBA this season, as he signed with Golden State for training camp in October, but was released shortly after. Thus, his performance this season is summarized in 10 games with the Santa Cruz Warriors of the G League, averaging 12.8 points, 6.8 rebounds and 1.3 steals per game.
