Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz Set to Clash in Indian Wells Semifinals: A Friendly Rivalry on the Court

Jannik Sinner, who will face Carlos Alcaraz in the Indian Wells semifinals, He assured that he has a great relationship with the Spaniard even though they are great rivals on the field. “It’s always fun to play with Carlos. We are good friends. On the court we just try to give each one one hundred percent.”

“I think we have a good attitude on the court. Normally our matches are good. Last year against him, especially here on this court, I had a lot of problems. He played much better than me. Then two weeks later I played in Miami against him and won So we’ll see,” he added.

The Italian has the face to face between both in favor (4-3)has won the Australian Open and Rotterdam this year and has accumulated an impressive 19-0 in his last 19 matches in the ATP (undefeated in 2024 plus three in the last Davis Cup).

Alcaraz defeated Sinnerwho is currently number two in the world ranking, in the semifinals of the last edition of Indian Wells, but the Italian won the last two matches between them in Miami and Beijing.
