James Munar’s Heartwarming Gesture at Miami Open Leaves Crowd in Awe

James Munar26 years old and world No. 72, lost in the first round of the Masters 1.000 on hard court Miami (USA)but he left a fantastic sporting gesture during the match against his young compatriot Martin Landaluce (360º), who at the age of 18 achieved his first victory in a main draw of the ATP6-3, 1-6 y 7-5.

With 3-3 in the third set and two break points for Munar, the match entered its decisive phase when a ball boy’s foot failed so badly that the young man remained stuck on the tennis court.

Jaume immediately saw the problem and approached the ball boy to ask him how he was doing. As the boy could not put his foot on the ground or walk on his own, Munar himself and another person picked up the ball boy and took him off the court to the applause of the public.

Once the young man was seated in a chair, Jaume said goodbye to him, bumping fists in another comforting gesture for the ball boy, even with obvious gestures of pain.
