Italy-Scotland: at what time and on which channel to watch the Six Nations Tournament match?

After the historic draw, the historic victory for Italy in the 2024 Six Nations Tournament? Not having gone that far from a victory against England (24-27) for their entry into the running, then soundly beaten at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin (36-0), the Squadra Azzurra had the victory at the end from the foot of Paolo Garbisi against France on February 25, but the post decided otherwise.

This Saturday, March 9, the task will be difficult, once again, for Gonzalo Quesada’s Italy against Scotland. Gregor Townsend’s men are Ireland’s runners-up at the top of the Six Nations rankings while the Italians, led by Ange Capuozzo, are still in sixth and last place. But the XV du Chardon is not infallible and conceded defeat, tinged with controversy, at home against the Blues.

At 23, winger Louis Lynagh, son of Michael, former captain of Australia, will honor his first selection with Italy after having worn the English colors in the youth categories. Sebastian Negri will make his return to the starting XV after missing the last two matches due to injury, as will Lorenzo Cannone, placed on the bench.

Several changes are also to be noted on the Scottish side. Injured, the first center Sione Tuipulotu is replaced by Finn Russell’s teammate at Bath, Cameron Redpath (24 years old, son of Bryan), while Andy Christie will play in the third row position, with Jamie Ritchie on the bench.

Finally, George Horne will play in 9 in place of the neo-Toulonnais Ben White, outside the group and whose absence is made up for by Ali Price. The powerful winger Duhan Van Der Merwe will be there. Why not score a new hat-trick in this Six Nations Tournament.

Italy-Scotland kicks off on Saturday March 9 at 3:15 p.m. on France 2.
