The Italian first division soccer team Lazio Rome has botched the dress rehearsal for the second Champions League duel with Bayern Munich. The capital club lost 0-1 (0-0) against AC Milan on Friday evening (01.03.24) at the start of the 27th matchday of Serie A.
Lazio is in danger of losing touch with the European Cup places. Noah Okafor (88th) made the decision shortly before the end. The hosts were already outnumbered: Luca Pellegrini had received two yellow cards within seven minutes and had to leave the field (57th).

Red cards were added to Adam Marusic (90+5) and Matteo Guendouzi (90+6) in stoppage time. Lazio takes a 1-0 lead into the second leg of the Champions League round of 16 on Tuesday in Munich.
