Injuries Pile Up for Miami Heat as Playoffs Loom

The Miami Heat are going through a delicate moment. The Florida team is seventh in the Eastern Conference, a game and a half behind the Indiana Pacers. They have lost six of the last 10 games they have played and still have to play the tiebreaker with Indiana (1-1 this season) on April 7. Meanwhile, health continues to diminish his possibilities. One of the most affected this season in terms of injuries is Tyler Herro. For whom, according to Shams CharaniaThere is no return date yet.

In fact, it was expected that Herro would be back by now. But the journalist details that the franchise is concerned because they are not completely unaware of the deadlines for his return.

The shooting guard has not played since February 23 due to tendinitis in his foot. His absence yesterday against the Golden State Warriors marks the sixteenth consecutive and number 36 of the season. In addition to Herro, Jimmy Butler, Kevin Love, Josh Richardson (misses the rest of the season) and Duncan Robinson are still out in Miami. The latter could return next week. Butler and Love are pending approval.

Between Butler, Adebayo and Herro, the supposed ‘star trio’ before the season began, they have missed a total of 69 games. Which makes it difficult to maintain any consistency even for a team as competitive as the Heat. Luckily for them, five of the ten remaining games are against teams with less than 50% wins.
