Historic land of the Yamakasi, Évry takes up Chase Tag, an athletic version of cat and mouse

Yasmine Ouadi, 25, is French Chase Tag vice-champion. Originally from Évry-Courcouronnes, she was looking for a real place to train. “I never had the training I needed, I even thought about stopping everything. There, I will be able to take a step forward,” enthuses the young woman. The one who started ADD with the Yamakasi, the Évry collective founding the discipline recognized by the eponymous film by Luc Besson in 2001, then joined a Chase Tag team in Toulouse (Haute-Garonne). But it’s difficult to go there as often as she would like.
