Four judoka from the Haltern Judo Club 66 eV took part on March 10th. took part in the Holten Cup in Oberhausen-Holten. This challenge cup tournament in the Düsseldorf district, to which some clubs from the Recklinghausen district were also invited, was very well attended this year with almost 200 judoka from the U13 and U15 age groups. Ben Konrad started in the U13 class, Shakila Khodjabirdi, Jasmin Kleerbaum and Tom Konrad competed in the U15 class. Despite some nice judo actions and a few victories, at the end of the day there was only enough podium place for the HJC team: Jasmin Kleerbaum took third place in her weight class.

Clara Ronig also gained experience on March 10th. took part in the national competition of the German Judo Federation in the U15 age group in Backnang (Baden-Württemberg). She was nominated as part of the NRW team for this major national event, but unfortunately was unable to prevail in her first participation in this competition.
