Hallein/Tennengau Judo Club Shines at Salzburg Judo Junior Cup

In the second round of the Salzburg Judo Junior Cup in Bischofshofen last weekend, almost 300 participants came together to demonstrate their martial arts.

256 participants from a total of 18 clubs from Upper Austria, Tyrol and Salzburg made a pilgrimage to the Hermann Wielandner Hall in Bischofshofen for the second round of the Judo Youth Cup. The two Tennengau clubs, the Hallein/Tennengau Judo Club and the Hallein-Golling Judo Union, jointly sent 46 young athletes to Pongau.

In the end, the kids from the Hallein/Tennengau judo club were able to celebrate four medals (gold: Franziska Leis, Julian Egger; silver: Victoria Leis; bronze: Timo Hillinger). The young judokas from the Judounion Hallein-Golling were also there with 19 medals (gold: Kalina Kovacevic, Annalena Bernhofer, Marlena Lechner, Valentina Tillian, Richard Buchner, Rafael Klabacher; silver: Helena Wieser, Angela Dimitrova, Tamara Obermüller, Anna Schreder, Alin Biro, Anesa Mahmuljin, Teodor Raskovic, Elma Baumann; Bronze: Elma Baumann, Elise Wieser, Arden Kuru, Benjamin Rest, Peter Harlander) highly successful. Thanks to these excellent results, the judokas from the Hallein-Golling Judounion made it to second place in the overall ranking. The final decisions in the various rankings will be made on April 6th in the third and final round of the Junior Cup in the Alpenstrasse sports hall in Salzburg.
