Gulbe and “Casademont” lose in the Queen’s Cup final

In the final, the Zaragoza team lost to the basketball players of “Valencia” with 53:77 (12:21, 18:26, 11:13, 12:17).

Gulbe played 23 minutes and 22 seconds and made two of six two-point shots, one of two long-range shots and three free throws. She also had five rebounds, one assist, three turnovers, two points, three penalties, a -4 +/- and finished with an efficiency rating of nine.

Latvian basketball player and Leonija Fibih were the most productive in Zaragoza’s unit, while Kayla Pointer scored another nine points.

Leticia Romero-Gonzalez contributed to the victory of “Valencia” with 19 points, while Alina Jagupova had 17 points and seven steals.

The day before, Zaragoza’s basketball players beat Gulbe’s previous club “Perfumerias Avenida” from Salamanca 73:61 in the semi-finals.

Last season, in the final of the Queen’s Cup, Zaragoza’s “Casademont” beat Salamanca’s “Perfumerias Avenida” 55:51, for which Gulbe played at the time.
