Guérigny. A sporting event on the mats. The Primary School Education Sports Union (Usep) organized its third meeting of the school year for cycle 3 students on Wednesday afternoon in the Boulonnerie gymnasium and the dojo. this time, about the struggle, just to finalize a teaching cycle in the schools of Guérigny (La clef verte, Clémenceau site), Coulanges-lès-Nevers (Les Saules), Nevers (Lucette Sallé and Alix Marquet) and Varennes- Vauzelles (Romain Rolland).
The eighty children present, supervised by their teachers, parents and Élie Odouard (USEP departmental delegate), participated in different workshops: cockfights, the bear in his den, partial sumo, the penguin master at home, hunters and ants, preventing them from turning around… Activities which, despite slightly bellicose names, took place in a sporting and respectful spirit; some were even refereed by children who also played the role of time master using hourglasses.
The afternoon was interrupted by a snack offered by Usep 58, whose officials thank the municipality and the judo section of Asgu for the loan of equipment and premises. The next departmental meeting will be the P’tit tour à vélo, Wednesday May 29.
