The fans didn’t have to wait long for the first goal in Szczecin. Already in the 47th second, Cracovia’s goalkeeper had to pull the ball out of the net. Fredrik Ulvestad took advantage of Kamil Grosicki’s great play. However, less than two minutes had passed and the scoreboard was again a draw. Benjamin Kallman equalized the score using Olafsson’s teamwork.
There was no shortage of new emotions in the following minutes. In the 15th minute, the hosts took the lead again, this time after an own goal. Kamil Grosicki made a great cross into the penalty area, but the ball was caught by “Pasy” player – Eneo Bitri. The problem is that he directed the ball into his own goal.
In the following minutes, Pogoń controlled the match and had opportunities for further goals. They had opportunities, among others: Ulvestad and Grosicki. Ultimately, however, the fans did not see any more goals until the end of the first half.
The second half did not impress. Pogoń Szczecin is getting closer to the podium
After changing sides, the image of the game changed slightly. In the first quarter, Cracovia looked like the better team. Benjamin Kallman had two very good opportunities, but he lacked accuracy. From minute to minute, the inhabitants of Krakow had to take more and more risks. But it didn’t pay off. In the 87th minute, Pogoń Szczecin was already leading 3-1. Vahan Biczakhchian scored a beautiful goal and determined the result of the match.
Thanks to the victory, Pogoń Szczecin moved one point closer to third-place Raków. Next week, “Portowcy” will play against Lech Poznań (April 7, 3 p.m.). In turn, Cracovia is in 13th place and will play against ŁKS next week (April 5, 6 p.m.).
