Greg Stolt Joins Realeague as Senior Vice President of Basketball Operations

He will lead the competition operations of Realeague’s new East Asia regional professional basketball tournament.

Before joining Realague, Greg Stolt worked at NBA Headquarters in the United States and NBA China for 15 years. He served as vice president of basketball operations and made important contributions to the NBA’s basketball promotion and youth training in East and South Asian countries. During his tenure, he led a total of more than 300 basketball development projects, and was deeply involved in the cooperation between the NBA and the Chinese Basketball Association in multiple dimensions such as national team exchanges, coach and referee training, and youth talent development. In addition, Greg is fully responsible for the implementation and operation of the Hainan NBA Basketball Training Center, which is also the first NBA basketball training center in China and currently the largest in the world.

Greg was a professional basketball player. From 1999 to 2006, he played for many professional clubs in Asia, Latin America, Europe and Australia, including the Niigata Swans of the former Japanese Basketball League. Albirex Club and Panasonic Super Kangaroos Club.

Greg will use his rich experience in international basketball operations to assist in the preparations for Realeague’s new competitions, and will be responsible for maintaining close communication with relevant parties such as international basketball organizations, basketball associations, leagues, and clubs.

Realeague was established in Hong Kong, China in 2023, and plans to launch a new East Asian regional professional basketball tournament. The participating teams are planned to come from Greater China, Japan, South Korea and Mongolia. Realeague is also the initiator and chief organizer of the Greater Bay Area International Sports Business Summit.
