In the midst of the preparations for the Copa América 2024, which will take place from June 20 to July 14, in the last hours the Gol Caracol commentators Javier Hernández Bonnet and Ricardo Orrego and also the narrators traveled to the city of Miami. Carlos Alberto Morales and Pepe Garzón, in order to record some promotional commercials, thinking about the massive coverage that Caracol Televisión will have of the soccer contest organized by Conmebol.

And in the middle of the professional work and the respective filming that was planned this Tuesday, a robbery occurred in Miami, which was reported by our general director of Gol Caracol on his ‘X’ account.

“Miami, in the power of crime. World plague. While we were recording the Gol Caracol commercials for the Copa América, in the sumptuous and safe Coral Gables, they broke the windows of the cars and stole lights and Ricardo Orrego’s briefcase with all the documents and money,” wrote Hernández Bonnet. In the next few hours, complaints will be made to the authorities, in order for them to advance the investigations of the case. In addition, it is expected that if Ricardo Orrego’s passport is found by someone in Miami, it will be returned.

It should be remembered that the Colombian National Team, led by Néstor Lorenzo, was placed in group D along with its counterparts from Brazil, Paraguay and a rival to be defined from Concacaf.
