Both factions of fans are extraordinary: the Giuglianesi fill the stands with enthusiasm, while the ultras stand out for their compactness and the abundance of patches and flags. Benevento supporters arrive in around 234 units according to the news, making their entrance with red torches and vibrant chants shortly after the start of the match. Despite the large size of their patches and flags, the net placed high in the sector prevents them from being seen flying at their best. Both fans show passionate support, demonstrating solidarity with the team with in particular an evocative scarf from the Giuglianesi.
The match, fought until the last moment, ends with a 2-1 victory for Benevento, which strengthens its position in the standings, while Giugliano moves towards a quiet salvation. Despite the defeat at home, the people of Giugliano do not lose morale and continue to sing and lead the public out of the stadium, perhaps alleviating the sense of bitterness with the chants against Cava and Foggia, two historic rivalries.
