The Braves’ pitching started with poor results. The island pitching had the worst collective effectiveness after the first two months, however, Giovanni Carrara managed to make adjustments so that his pitching improved considerably.

In fact, the team ended up allowing an average of 5.23 earned runs per nine innings, which may not be dazzling, but it does indicate the team’s evolution after a shaky start.

“Everyone knows that the Braves’ start to the season was quite tough, but, thank God, we worked hard every day in the bullpen and the results were clear,” the coach continued. “Everything started to go better for us, we started to make better pitches, to locate the pitches better.”
