The third new announcement at the Xbox Parter Preview is “Monster Jam: Showdown” from Milestone. The arcade racing game is scheduled to be released for all Xbox consoles this year.
The game will run on Unreal Engine 5 to create a lifelike environment using the most modern techniques. There should be a lot of graphical details and a lighting system that also improves the gameplay possibilities and the physics system. In addition to all the action of the official competitions, players can drive the iconic trucks in unique environments and take on a variety of events. Monster Jam: Showdown will feature a total of 66 official Monster Jam trucks (40 trucks will be included in the base game and 26 will be added through free or premium DLC) as well as more than 140 paint jobs that can be unlocked and applied.
Fans will compete in three venue categories, American football fields, baseball stadiums and speedways, with rectangular, diamond and oval layouts. Additionally, players can drive their favorite Monster Jam trucks in three original environments inspired by the American outdoors: the barren desert of Death Valley, the forests and rivers of Colorado, and the wintry mountains of Alaska. From official competitions like Head-to-Head Racing and Freestyle to specially designed events, a total of ten different game modes promise a solid mix of arcade experiences – both online and offline, including split-screen.
