German Women’s National Team Squad Announced for European Championship Qualifiers amid Injury Concerns

National coach Horst Hrubesch has announced the squad for the German women’s national team’s upcoming European Championship qualifiers against Austria and Iceland. A total of 23 players were nominated, including me Mrs. Schulze Solano from Athletic Bilbao, a newcomer who will wear the national team jersey for the first time. The German team will gather in Linz on Easter Monday to face Austria on April 5th and Iceland on April 9th. These games are part of a group of four, which also includes Poland, with the aim of qualifying directly for the European Championship finals in Switzerland. There are playoffs for the teams in third and fourth place.
