German basketball star Isaiah Hartenstein (25) is experiencing his best NBA season to date with the New York Knicks. Most recently he scored 17 points and grabbed ten rebounds against the Brooklyn Nets. This also happens privately with the former Bundesliga professional (Quakenbrück).

His wife, former Miss Texas Kourtney Kellar, is expecting their first child. Hartenstein recently explained in the BILD interview: “We were all very happy and really wanted it. I’m even happier that it’s now going to be a boy. It will happen in June or July. Our anticipation is huge. My wife already buys a lot of baby things.”
Kellar herself now reveals on the website of a fashion boutique that she definitely has respect for childbirth. This also has to do with her husband.

When asked what exactly she is afraid of, the model replies: “Giving birth! Isaiah weighed almost 14 pounds, so I’m hoping for a smaller boy.”

So that family happiness will soon be perfect, Kourtney is already busy learning German. Hartenstein recently said: “We also want to talk to each other so that the people around us don’t understand. But for her it is also about getting more involved with German culture. My son should also learn German.”

For Hartenstein, the fact that the offspring is born in the summer also has an impact on his sporting career. The reason: Also because of the birth, he considers it unlikely that he will take part in the Olympic Games in the DBB jersey.
The basketball star explains: “I don’t want to force myself into it. A team that has become world champions is now playing there. Not much will change anyway. On top of that, I’m going to be a father in the summer. Of course, as an athlete you want to take part in the Olympics. But, at this point I see it as very unlikely.”
