The agreement ceremony held at the Gangjin-gun Sports Industry Group was attended by Choi Soon-cheol, Sports Industry Group Director, Lee Sang-bok, Vice President of the Korea University Badminton Federation, Park Jong-hoon, Secretary General of the Jeollanam-do Badminton Association, and Son Chang-jin, Secretary General of the Gangjin-gun Badminton Association.
According to the agreement, Gangjin-gun will provide administrative support such as finances, provision of facilities, and safety measures to successfully host the tournament for three years from 2024 to 2026, and the Korea University Badminton Federation will take the lead in promoting Gangjin-gun by encouraging participating teams and hosting the tournament.
