From Gaming to Competing: Thomas Plourde’s Journey to the Quebec Games

“When I started, I was a little overweight and just gaming all day. Then, I decided to start badminton because I saw that there was extracurricular activity,” he said before his departure for the Quebec Games.

“When I started playing this, I didn’t think I was going to compete. In the end, I got noticed. I really didn’t expect that,” the badista told Noovo Info.

Thomas Plourde finished in eighth position in the badminton tournament at the 2024 Quebec Games.
