French Top Badminton Players Compete in Chocolate Tournament in Montluçon

The name of the competition, the Chocolate Tournament, may suggest that we are going to indulge in some excess indulgence this Easter weekend. But it is indeed a high level of badminton which is announced for Saturday, Sunday and next Monday at the Paul-Constans gymnasium.

325 players from all over France are expected to compete for victory in the different tables offered by the Montluçon badminton club. Among them, certain members of the French Top 100.

Philippe Paquerette is one of the members of the club.

500 to 600 matches scheduled throughout the weekend. The local club benefits in particular from the quality of the facilities dedicated to badminton in this recently inaugurated hall.

Matches begin on Saturday at 8 a.m. with a day dedicated to women’s and men’s singles. The next day, it’s time for doubles competitions, then mixed doubles on Monday. Entrance is free with refreshment bar and farmers’ market. There will be an After Bad evening on Sunday with music and catering, by reservation.
