French team: Kylian Mbappé expected at a press conference on Friday

Kylian Mbappé in front of the press is always an event. According to our information, the captain of the France team is expected in front of the media this Friday, late afternoon, around 5:30 p.m. The PSG and Blues striker will speak on the eve of the friendly match against Germany at Groupama Stadium in Lyon.

This will be his 4th appearance at a match eve press conference since he was captain of the Blues, after the Netherlands in March 2023, Gibraltar on the first leg in June and the return in November in Nice. When he was named captain of the France team, after the World Cup in Qatar and the international retirement of Hugo Lloris, Kylian Mbappé sometimes deviated from the unwritten tradition which wanted the captain to always come to a press conference on the eve of an international match.

Euro, Olympics, departure from PSG…

But this time, before the clash against the Mannschaft, the captain of the Blues will be there. Bondy’s crack media appearances are rare but are often worth the detour. Does he have anything in particular to announce? Olympics, Euro, departure from PSG… The subjects are numerous. And Kylian Mbappé is not in the habit of shying away when he is asked questions.

This will only be the second time that the French captain has spoken since announcing his departure from PSG in the offseason, a month ago. Mbappé answered a few questions on Canal + after PSG qualified for the Champions League against Real Sociedad in San Sebastián.

Since then, we have notably learned of the refusal of Real Madrid, the club that Mbappé should join, to release French players for the Paris Olympics. Will the French sports star be in Paris for the first Olympic Games in France in 100 years? When will we know his future club? The press conference will be eagerly awaited. It will be followed live on the Parisien website.
