In this same category, Japan has decided to send its representative to the Olympics Tatsuru Saito, 22 years old (10th in the world).
Antalya could be Teddy Riner’s last tournament before the Games, with two Grand Slams planned in May in Tajikistan (May 3-5) and Kazakhstan (May 10-12), then the World Championships in Abu Dhabi (19 -May 24).
Distance duel between Malonga and Tcheuméo
Four other French Olympic selections, Luka Mkheidze (-60kg), Walide Khyar (-66kg), Alpha Djalo (-81kg) and Maxime-Gaël Ngayap Hambou (-90kg), will also be present in Turkey.
