France-Chile: sprain for Camavinga and tear for Clauss, probably forfeit for the clasico

This is the black point of this friendly meeting between France and Chile. Jonathan Clauss and Eduardo Camavinga, lined up at the start of the Orange Vélodrome this Tuesday evening, were forced to leave the field prematurely.

The first named gave up his place in the 9th minute, hit in the left thigh. According to the first findings communicated by the Blues staff, the defender suffers from a torn hamstring. For the Madrilenian, released in the 42nd minute after a shock in a duel with Isla, it was the left ankle which was affected. Camavinga is said to be suffering from a sprain. Additional examinations must be carried out in the coming hours to confirm these initial diagnoses.

At halftime of the match, Didier Deschamps regretted the premature exit of these two players. “The problem is that I had to make two changes due to two injuries, I had planned something else. (..) Given the situation on an athletic level with small aches and injuries… We have to go all the way. »

As a result of this injury, Jonathan Clauss should be withdrawn from the clasico on Sunday in the same Orange Vélodrome. Olympique de Marseille hosts Paris Saint-Germain on Sunday (8:45 p.m.) for the 27th day of Ligue 1.
