The former president of French Ligue 1 club Angers SCO, Saïd Chabane has just been sentenced to two years in prison, including one year suspended for sexual assault.
The sentence fell this Friday for Saïd Chabane. While the prosecution had requested three years in prison for the former president of the SCO of Angers, he was ultimately sentenced to a two-year prison sentence, one of which was suspended. As a reminder, he had been accused of sexual assault by seven women. The first complaint was filed in January 2020.

Saïd Chabane will appeal
Saïd Chabane’s lawyers indicated that they wanted to appeal this decision as indicated by West France et the Courrier de l’Ouest. The former president of the Angevin club was not present in court.
