This is what Viola general manager Joe Barone declared speaking on the club’s channels from Budapest where he is following the team involved this evening in the first leg of the Conference League round of 16 against Maccabi Haifa. ”There are elections and everyone wants to put a medal on their chest regarding this affair – continued Barone – Many proclamations but no one thinking about the fans or the club. On Monday there was a meeting with the Municipality, I was not present but I was told that our numerous questions, on the duration of the works or on the figures of the future rent, remained unanswered and with still many doubts. For four years the Fiorentina will not have the revenues it has had so far, our forecast is that we will lose at least 100 million”.
The Viola manager closed by addressing the Government: ”I ask that they pay attention to this project because in the end the losers will be the fans and above all our club which is managed perfectly from a financial point of view”.
