The value of Bayern Munich’s players ranks in an international comparison, just ahead of Chelsea and Liverpool in fifth place

Bayern Munich has to accept severe losses in market values in the transfer market update. But one player is working extremely against the trend. The increase in value at VfB Stuttgart is breathtaking. And Florian Wirtz draws level with Harry Kane.
The experts from the specialist portal transfermarkt.de (like WELT, belongs to Axel Springer SE) have examined the market values of Bundesliga players. In the interim update – only selected players, 157 in total, and not the entire squad were updated – a big winner emerged. It’s Aleksandar Pavlovic, a whiz kid at FC Bayern. It increased its market value by 23 million euros and is now valued at 25 million euros.
But the people of Munich in general are among the losers. This is how it sinks The record champions’ squad value rose by 47 million euros to 929 million euros, placing them in fifth place in an international comparison, just ahead of Chelsea and Liverpool.
For example, Minjae Kim (55 million), Leroy Sané (70 million), Alphonso Davies (60 million), Dayot Upamecano (50 million), Mathys Tel (40 million) and Leon Goretzka (30 million) will each be ten million euros less than previously carried out. Joshua Kimmich is therefore only worth 60 million euros, making him the highest loss of his career (minus 15 million euros). No player lost more market value in the current update.

The squad value of the surprise team from VfB Stuttgart, however, continues to rise. While this was still at 116.6 million euros after the end of the summer transfer period, it is now 277.9 million – also thanks to further upgrades for the German national players Chris Führich (25 million, plus eight million), Deniz Undav (22 million, plus five million), Waldemar Anton (18 million, plus eight million) and Maximilian Mittelstädt (14 million, plus nine million). Within the Bundesliga, VfB went from fifth to fourth place in the squad value ranking, and internationally from 50th to 39th.
The big winner at BVB has been awarded
Of course, the squad from Bundesliga leaders Bayer Leverkusen is also one of the big winners. For Florian Wirtz, on the way to a possible treble with the factory club, there is an increase of ten to 110 million euros, which puts him at the top of the ranking of the most valuable Bundesliga professionals with Jamal Musiala and Harry Kane. Alejandro Grimaldo, who is now worth 45 million euros, was also upgraded by ten million euros on transfermarkt.de.
